Volunteer as an instructor

We recruit volunteer doctors, nurses, midwives and resuscitation officers.

Experience needed:

  • an appropriate clinical background
  • currently active as a Generic Instructor Course (GIC) instructor and also an instructor on at least one of the following ALSG or Resus Council provider courses:
    • NLS
    • APLS
    • PHPLS
    • POET
    • MOET
    • EPALS
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to teach in English
  • previous experience of volunteering overseas in resource poor settings would be helpful

We are a small charity and run 1 or 2 overseas trips a year, usually for 10 days at a time.  The work is challenging and immensely rewarding; we look forward to welcoming you on board!
